Where to Shop in Toronto

These days, you hear a lot about shopping local. This can be challenging because we are more exposed to mass marketing giants than we are to smaller businesses. But have no fear, that’s what I’m here for! The following is a compilation of stores in Toronto that I have shopped at and thoroughly enjoyed. Most of them will offer online shopping or curbside pickup. Without further ado, here is a little list of places to shop in Toronto!

The Wanderly

The Wanderly is a store that I’ve been shopping at for about two years, and I am never disappointed. They offer clothes both new and vintage, as well as home decor such as candles and incense. They offer brands such as Lacausa, Selva Negra, and Le Bon Shoppe.

Kotn

Kotn is a Canadian brand using Egyptian cotton to make basics such as plain white tees and turtlenecks. They offer clothing for men and women, and their garments are comfy and ethical. It’s a win-win!

Horses Atelier

This Toronto clothing brand and storefront makes high quality, beautifully feminine pieces that make for amazing closet staples. I recently purchased their new black Winter Coat (pictured here) and am looking forward to wearing it this winter.

Clearly, shopping locally is both ethical, sustainable, and fashionable!
